Fall 2021 Classes & Youth Programs

Transition time is here - from Summer to Fall. For most people, this means back to routine schedules and kids in school. For FirePower, it means a transition to indoor classes, a revised schedule and supporting our members to a consistent program that fits your needs! If you haven't been to visit us lately, we have reassembled the rig, brought in some new toys, and are hanging the boxing bags again.

All the same COVID protocols remain in effect: masks when entering the facility but not required when you workout, sanitizing equipment and pre-enrolment for classes. We encourage members to get vaccinated to help prevent the spread and we have a staff vaccine policy in effect.  We respect your personal decision and are monitoring provincial announcements for any operational changes we may have to implement. We will keep you abreast as quickly as we can.

Fall Class Schedule

As we've done for the past decade, the class schedule is revised in September. This year is no different. Starting September 7th, we will see the return of noons, 3:30pm's and Open Gym times. Some class times have been eliminated as work schedules return to normal for many. As always, we will do our best to accommodate and adapt schedule based on attendance monitoring and feedback.

Also starting Sept 7th, in fairness to all members registering for classes, we will be more strict on the rules of pre-enrolments including late-cancels and no-shows.  Classes will be available 3 days in advance to register and you can remove yourself from a class up to 8 hours before start time. Boxing Classes Return!

Starting September 8th, boxing classes will return on Mondays/Wednesdays 7:00pm and Saturdays 10:00am.

No experience necessary for boxing. Beginners welcome. Training focuses on heavy bags and drills. No sparring or contact.

Athletes will need their own hand wraps and gloves for sanitary reasons. Available at the front desk. Ask a coach for recommended sizes.

CrossFit Striking also returns starting September 11th. Classes will be 9:00am. Requires completion of CF Foundations and also Striking Foundations or previous boxing / kickboxing class experience.

Boxing & Striking classes are included in memberships.

***Due to limited spaces, please do not 'double-up' on classes with boxing & striking. Ask a coach for clarification.

FirePower Youth Fall Programs

Kicking off September 7th for grades 6-8 and grades 9+.

Group Classes: Choose Mondays/Wednesdays or Tuesdays/Thursdays. Athletes will train in same cohort for entire month.

Optional Add-On: Saturday Barbell Class if already registered in weekday youth classes.
