Team FirePower is super excited to be hosting our FIRST ANNUAL SUPERMEET for CrossFit members on Saturday, November 23rd! 🌟. This is your chance to test your own strength and push your edge! The best part is this -- the competition is with yourself, so it's only your expectations you need to meet (of course if you want to get competitive with a friend or two, no one will stop you 😉). Find your one rep maxes and give yourself a starting point for 2025.
SUPERMEET is your opportunity to find one rep maxes in a selection of lifts. It's a SELF-LED workout. Staff will be there to help explain the workout, spot your lifts and offer encouragement / motivation / strategy. The gym floor will be set up from 8:30am – 11:30am for you to come in and complete the movements at your own speed. Take your time and see just how strong you really are, especially after the ! BUT… don’t take too much time as you only have two hours to complete the movements.
Lifts included: STRICT PRESS, DEADLIFT, BACK SQUAT and max # STRICT PULL-UPS.
To repeat, the event is 3 hours long but as a competitor you only get TWO HOURS to complete all elements. Be strategic, be accurate, have FUN!!! You don't need to sign up for a time slot. Just come, drink coffee, lift weights, and stay as little or as long as you like! Max lifts like this are always more fun with a crowd so we encourage you to hang out and cheer on your pals, as they will do for you!
