20 Years of FirePower

A Legacy of Strength, Community & Impact

In 2005, FirePower began as a small boxing gym tucked inside a local high school. What started as a humble space with a few heavy bags and a big dream has grown into a cornerstone of Milton’s fitness community and a globally-recognized brand. By 2008, we expanded into Milton, and from that moment, FirePower became more than a gym — it became a family to so many.

For the past two decades, our mission has remained the same: to support families, build a community of fitness, and lift others up around us. Through the highs and lows, the PRs and the struggles, FirePower has been a place where people find strength, resilience, and belonging. We are deeply proud of the lifetime impact we’ve had on past, current, and future members. Every story, every transformation, every laugh shared on the gym floor has shaped the heart of FirePower.

A Gift Back to Our Community

As we reflect on 20 incredible years, gratitude is at the centre of our personal celebration. To honour the 3,976 members we have served since day one, we are donating a tree for each member to Trees For Life. This means nearly 4,000 trees will be planted right here in our backyard — in Milton and across the Halton region.

Our goal is to ensure FirePower’s impact lives on far beyond the first 20 years, rooted in the same soil where our community has grown. Just as FirePower has been a place to grow stronger, these trees will grow taller and stronger, providing shade, and legacy for generations to come.

A Shared Celebration

2025 marks two special milestones: FirePower’s 20th anniversary and Trees For Life’s 10th anniversary. Together, we celebrate not just what has been built, but what is still to come.

We’re proud to support TFL’s mission to plant trees where we live, work, and play. And we invite you to be part of it too. Check out their inspiring Hero Tree campaign, where anyone can recognize a loved one — living or in memory — by dedicating a Hero Tree in their name.
