Built For The Game: Girls-Only Training Program

At FirePower, we believe strong girls become confident athletes—and confident athletes become strong leaders. That’s why we’re proud to launch Built For The Game, a girls-only strength and conditioning program designed specifically for young female athletes in Grades 6–8.

This 5-week program goes beyond traditional gym class or sport practice. It’s about learning how to move well, build strength safely, and develop the confidence to perform—both on and off the field.


What Is 'BUILT FOR THE GAME'?

Built For The Game is a structured, progressive training program led by certified and experienced female coaches who understand the unique physical and emotional needs of young female athletes.

Each session is designed to be fun, challenging, and empowering, while teaching proper movement patterns that will support long-term athletic development and injury prevention.


What We Focus On

Athletes will train across several key areas that directly support performance in sports like soccer, hockey, basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, and more:

  • Core & Upper Body Strength – building a strong foundation for posture, power, and injury resilience

  • Leg Strength & Stability – improving balance, coordination, and confidence in movement

  • Cardio Power & Endurance – developing fitness that translates directly to game performance

  • Mobility & Stretching – increasing flexibility, body awareness, and recovery

  • Nutrition Guidance – age-appropriate education around fueling the body for growth and sport

  • Mindset & Confidence – helping athletes believe in their strength and abilities


Why Girls-Only Training Matters

Adolescence is a critical time for young female athletes. A girls-only environment provides:

  • A safe and supportive space to learn new skills

  • Increased confidence and willingness to try challenging movements

  • Positive role models through strong, knowledgeable female coaches

  • Better understanding of strength training during growth and development


This program helps athletes build a strong relationship with movement and training that can last a lifetime.


Program Details:

We are offering two 5-week blocks:

  • Block 1: January 8 – February 5

  • Block 2: February 12 – March 12

Athletes can sign up for one block or both for continued progress.

Cost: $120 per 5-week block.
