Rope climbs are one of those movements in CrossFit that can completely change a workout. They can be the difference between feeling strong and finishing fast… or feeling stuck and frustrated.
And here’s the thing most people don’t realize:
It’s not about pulling harder.
It’s not about having stronger arms.
It’s about technique—especially your footwork.
Most athletes try to muscle their way up the rope, burn out their grip, and or avoid it altogether in class. And honestly? In a regular group class, there just isn’t enough time to slow things down and actually learn the skill properly. That’s exactly why we created this specialty program:
2-Part Rope Climbing Intensive Specialty Program
We’re running a small, focused workshop—just 5 athletes. Over two sessions, we’ll break everything down in a way that finally makes it click:
✔️ How to use your legs so they do most of the work
✔️ How to find your “shelf” and stop over-gripping
✔️ How to lock your feet in properly (no more sliding down 😬)
✔️ How to descend safely and with control
Program Details:
Sundays April 19 & April 26
12:15pm to 1pm
Both sessions are required as skills will build progressively throughout the course.
$49 + HST for both sessions.
