You're Invited....
Please join us for our Annual FirePower Thanksgiving PotLuck Dinner for members and families on the Friday of the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. We are BEYOND excited to bring this event back to life for our FP community. Over the years it has grown to be a fav of members and staff together! Sadly, Covid had it on hiatus for the last 3 years but we are BACK!
Friday Oct 7th, 7:00pm to 8:30pm
Here's how it works:
All members are welcome to come with spouses and kids.
RSVP is required so we can order chairs and tables.
The dinner is on Friday of the long weekend so you can still sneak away, and/or hopefully it doesn't impact any family dinners you have planned over the rest of the weekend.
Dinner is a potluck, meaning bring a dish to share. Savards provide the turkeys, usually 3 x 25lbs. Everyone else provides sides/dessert.
Please indicate what dish you'd like to bring on the signup sheet so we have a selection of sides, desserts, etc.
Water, coffee, tea will be provided. BYOB if you'd like a wine or beer with dinner.
The 6:30pm class that evening will be canceled to allow time for set up.
Dinner kicks off at 7pm sharp!
Cost is $10pp, $15/couple and $5/kid 12 & under to help cover the cost of tables/chairs, etc. Any left over funds will be donated to the local food bank.
Payment is made by cash to the front desk before the evening if possible.
There is also a sign up list at the front desk. Stop by and add your name before October 4th.
